Defective door latch ,,,safety issue because the warning light does not come on when you open door. i have two 2002 vw beetles and they both have non working warning lights due to defective latches, fault.. 2001 vw beetle dash lights not working, just dont come on. interior lights, door lights work fine. tried the dimmer switch and it didnt do anything. did have a remote starter installed, where the sheared the seat airbag wire and repaired it.. No interior lights when you open any door?? ok guys on to my next issue. i have a problem with my 00 jetta the dome & the rear interior lights do not come on when any door opens..
